Are We a Match?

At Champlain College, we believe in a smarter way to assess whether prospective students are a good fit for our innovative approach to education. During the application process, we ask for the usual items such as transcripts, standardized test scores (optional), lists of extracurricular activities, essays (optional), and recommendations. Academic measures such as GPA, class rank, and strong writing/communication skills are critical in determining whether students are academically prepared for our intensive, career-focused programs.

In addition to these credentials, we also value certain personal qualities that can tip the balance in favor of admission, even if one aspect of the academic profile is not as strong. We seek highly motivated students with a spirit of innovation, a commitment to inclusivity, an interest in global citizenship, a growth mindset, and strong values of service and environmental sustainability.

Our educational approach goes beyond academic excellence to focus on developing well-rounded individuals who will thrive in our intensive, career-focused programs and make a positive impact on the world.

At Champlain, we strive to create an inclusive and empowering learning community where your unique strengths and aspirations are celebrated and encouraged to flourish. Together, we’ll embark on a transformative path to success, personal growth, and meaningful contributions to society.
